Ingredients
1 1/2 dl milk
5 tbsp breadcrumbs
500 g ground beef or a mix of beef and pork
1/2 yellow onion, peeled and grated
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1 pinch of pepper
1/2 tsp sugar
Butter or margarine
Instructions
Mix breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl. Let it swell for a few minutes.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef or a mix of beef and pork with the grated onion, egg, salt, pepper, and sugar.
Add the milk and breadcrumb mixture to the meat mixture. Mix well until it forms a smooth batter.
Shape small meatballs with your hands.
Melt butter or margarine in a frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the meatballs until they are cooked through and have a nice golden brown color on the surface.
Serve the meatballs with lingonberry sauce and boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes.
